My name is Chelsea Hooks and I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama. I am majoring in Poultry Science production at Auburn University and will graduate in May 2018. I hope to make a difference in the Poultry industry by using my knowledge and skills to help effectively further the agricultural industry, whether that is in Human Resources, communications, marketing, or pharmaceuticals. After getting my Bachelors degree I plan to go back and get my masters to further my education and better expand my knowledge to further my career.

In addition to my Poultry Science knowledge, I have had ample experience in pharmaceuticals from being a Alabama Board Certified Pharmacy Technician for four years. For the past two years, I have also owned my own small business, Designs by Chelsea where I am able to use my creative talents combined with entrepreneur skills to sale and market my own products. I also have a passion for design, photography, editing, writing, and communication. When I am not studying for school I enjoy spending time with my Yorkshire Terrier, my family, and friends. I am a die-hard Auburn football fan and on the weekends I love shopping, watching a movie, or spending time outside whether it's hunting, fishing, riding fourwheelers, or just sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine.

 

My outlook on life is simple; I love people and I love the opportunity to connect with people. I hope I can use my Poultry Science knowledge in addition to my other skills to help further my career and make a difference. Please feel free to contact me.
